Program Information

We invite all of you throughout the world who want to make a difference in the future of our "One Ocean" - ocean professional societies, ocean governing organizations, government, industry, academia, researchers, educators, the public, and others - to meet with us in Washington, D.C., USA during OCEANS 2005 MTS/IEEE. You are invited to submit an abstract for review by the Technical Program Committee and, if accepted, to then submit a paper for publication and join us in Washington to provide an oral presentation.

Supporting "One Ocean" are these General Themes that will guide the development of Plenary Sessions and other associated events:

Submit your abstract of up to 500 words via the Abstract Submission Form in an Area of Interest. (If other areas should be included, let us know.) Acceptance will be based on quality, originality, and relevance to the "One Ocean" and General Themes. Papers must be submitted in advance for publication in the Conference Proceedings and oral presentation during the conference.

Upon acceptance of your abstract, you will be provided access to the Author's Kit and guidance for preparation of the written paper and oral presentation.

If you have any questions, please contact info@oceans2005.org.

Sponsored by the Marine Technology Society (MTS) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)/Oceanic Engineering Society (OES).
